Parents In The Know
Parents should be the first people to teach their children about dating, friendships, peer pressure, goals, marriage, and life. Young people look to adults to provide and learn the emotional, intellectual, and moral fortitude needed to live content, successful lives.
Parents must embrace communication before dictation to become a parent in the know. As we encourage an infant to believe they can walk, to get up when they fall; encouragement lasts for an eternity. Encouragement is a vital tool as help develop and prepare our children to become men and women of good character.
Heritage Community Services provides Parent Education training to get parents in the know. The training not only helps parents in their homes, but also in their communities, as it encourages parents to form a support network for all of the children in their community.
